A studio service
Sticker books, painted scene by scene.
In a sticker book the scenes and the stickers have to belong together. We paint both in one watercolour look, size every sticker to the space left for it, and hand your printer sheets with cut lines.

N° 01Scenes with room to play
Scenes with room to play
Each scene is painted with open spaces: a pond waiting for ducks, a branch waiting for birds.
N° 02Stickers as their own paintings
Stickers as their own paintings
Every sticker is a separate painted object with a white edge and a cut line on its own layer.
N° 03Made for a sticker printer
Made for a sticker printer
Print-on-demand paperbacks cannot include sticker sheets. We set the files to the template of the printer you choose.
N° 04Reusable or stick-once
Reusable or stick-once
Tell us which you are making. It changes the paper and the sticker material, so it is decided before we paint.
N° 05How it is made
How a book like this comes together.
01
A sticker list for each scene
Before painting we list which stickers belong to which scene. The scenes are then composed around them.
02
Outlines or open space
A scene can show faint shapes where stickers go, or leave open space for free play. This is decided per book before painting.
03
Stickers sized for small fingers
Each sticker is large enough to peel and place. Thin parts such as legs and tails are kept inside one simple cut shape.
04
Scenes that work empty and full
A scene should look finished before a single sticker is added, and not crowded once they all are.
05
A few spare stickers
Extra stickers that fit any scene give the child something to choose.
N° 06What goes wrong
Common mistakes, and how to avoid them.
01
Stickers that do not fit their space
Stickers painted apart from the scene end up too big or too small. We paint both at the same scale and place every sticker on its scene in the file.
02
A cut line too close to the art
If the cut drifts, part of the picture is lost. The white edge is set to the width your printer asks for.
03
A sheet packed too tightly
Stickers set too close together are hard to cut and hard to peel. Spacing follows your printer's minimum.
04
Stickers and pages that print in different colours
Sticker material and page paper take ink differently. We paint both from one palette, and a printed proof from your printer shows the result.

N° 10Questions
The answers we give most often.
- How many scenes and stickers fit a package?
- The Little Book covers up to 8 paintings, which can be split between scenes and sticker sheets. Larger books use the Picture Book or Big Book package.
- Do you print the stickers?
- No. You receive artwork and cut-line files. Your printer makes the sheets.
- Is it safe for toddlers?
- Small stickers raise safety questions for children under three. Your printer or testing lab advises; we design to what they require.
- Should the scenes show where each sticker goes?
- Either way works. Outlines make the book a matching task, and open spaces leave the child free to choose. Tell us which before we paint.
- I have not chosen a printer yet. Can you start?
- We can plan the scenes and the sticker list. Sheet layout and cut lines wait for the template, because your printer decides sizes and spacing.
- Can some stickers be words?
- Yes. Word stickers are set as text from the words you supply.
